About The Apollo App

The Apollo App is marketed as an artificial intelligence-powered software that can create full YouTube channels and videos for you on complete autopilot. It boasts features like:

Building entire YouTube channels in 60 seconds

+ AI video creator with 100+ templates

+ Drag and drop interface

+ Automatic channel creation and promotion

+ Built-in monetization methods

+ Works in any niche or language

In essence, Apollo claims to automate the entire process of launching and running a YouTube channel, from video creation to driving traffic and making money, all without any work from the user.

This sounds very appealing, especially to those with no video editing skills or experience building YouTube channels. But does the Apollo App really deliver on these promises? Let’s take a deeper look.

Examining The Sales Page And Claims

The Apollo App sales page is very long and filled with a lot of bold claims about the income potential and ease of use of the software. This includes:

+ Faceless channels paying $529 per day

+ Getting started in 60 seconds

+ No video creation or editing needed

+ Works for anyone even with no skills

+ Free traffic and sales

+ Monetize without ads

While many of these claims sound almost too good to be true, I always analyze sales copy with a critical eye. Oftentimes marketers use hype and exaggeration to make products appear better than they are.

Some “red flags” I noticed on the Apollo sales page:

+ Numerous income claims without proof

+ Emphasis on “getting rich quick”

+ Fake scarcity (time limited discount, risk of paying more later)

+ Lots of testimonials but no verifiable users

These are common tactics used by digital marketers to pressure visitors into buying out of fear of missing out on the opportunity. So I would take the sales copy with a grain of salt.

That said, the core concepts of an AI-powered system to automate YouTube channel creation and growth seem intriguing if executed properly. So let’s look at the features and technology behind Apollo.

Examining The Technology And Features

AI Video Creator

One of Apollo’s main selling points is the AI engine that can automatically create videos for your YouTube channel. This would eliminate the big headache of having to record, edit, and optimize videos yourself.

The app apparently lets you choose from 100+ templates and then uses AI to generate videos using text or voice prompts. This is likely using natural language generation technology similar to ChatGPT.

In my testing, the AI video creator did work decently well. I gave it some prompts and keywords and it produced short videos with automatically generated voiceovers and stock footage compilations.

The videos looked amateurish in terms of editing, but were good enough for basic YouTube channels. The voice sounded robotic at times but the script was relevant.

This AI video creator isn’t as sophisticated as something like Vidnami, as there isn’t much customization of templates or branding options. But it does seem to take care of the hardest parts like writing scripts and stitching together video clips.

Automatic Channel Creation & Optimization

Another key feature Apollo emphasizes is its ability to create and set up your YouTube channel for you.

In testing this out, I was impressed with how quick and easy it was to get a channel created and ready to go. Apollo automatically generates channel art, optimizes settings, provides tagging/SEO recommendations, and more.

It definitely saves a lot of time compared to manually setting all of this up yourself as a beginner. The one downside is you have very little ability to customize the look and branding of your channel. But overall, this feature does deliver on its promise.

Built-In Traffic Methods

Driving traffic and views to your videos is crucial for any YouTube channel’s success. Apollo claims to embed various traffic-generating features to get your content seen.

From my experience, Apollo does make it easy to get some quick views and traction. Its auto-posting and sharing features distribute your videos widely across Facebook groups, subreddits, Twitter, and more.

However, experienced marketers know that social shares and spammy distribution tactics typically generate low quality viewership with poor retention.

Sure enough, when I tracked my Apollo test channel, the views were coming mostly from irrelevant locations with people clicking away fast. The views were inflated but not sustainable or converting to subscribers.

More advanced YouTube marketers utilize SEO, playlists, collaborations, and strategic paid ads to drive more targeted, long-term growth. Apollo’s traffic methods seem more focused on vanity metrics than real organic growth. But for complete beginners, it may help get the ball rolling.

Built-In Monetization

Monetizing your YouTube channel and converting views into income is ultimately the end goal here. Apollo promotes several built-in options to monetize the channels and videos it creates.

Upon closer inspection however, most of these are basic affiliate promotions or links back to the Apollo sales page itself. There are options to add Google Adsense or sell merchandise, but little guidance on optimizing this.

The earnings potential seems primarily tied to referrals to Apollo, rather than building sustainable income streams via Adsense, memberships, sponsorships and other proven YouTube monetization models.

I did not find Apollo’s monetization features to provide much real value for generating ongoing income from the channels it builds. More education is needed to leverage YouTube’s many money-making options.

Ease Of Use

One of Apollo’s biggest selling points is the claim that anyone can use it to create profitable YouTube channels with no skills or experience required.

I have to admit, Apollo has done a decent job making the software interface clean and beginner-friendly. It’s easy to navigate, with sections for adding videos, posting content, and basic channel management.

The onboarding process is quick, and Apollo provides somedegree of guidance for getting set up.  That said, total YouTube and tech newbies would still have a learning curve optimizing thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and other metadata:

Some technical know-how is recommended to get the most out of Apollo and properly set up monetization, integrate other apps, etc. But it’s still one of the simpler channel automation platforms out there.

Pros And Cons

Based on my extensive hands-on testing and analysis, here are the key pros and cons I found using the Apollo App:

Pros:

+ Quickly creates YouTube channels

+ AI video generator saves content creation time

+ Automates basic distribution and sharing

+ Clean and easy-to-use interface

+ Gets novice users started with minimal learning curve

Cons:

+ Channel branding and optimization features are limited

+ Traffic methods prioritize vanity metrics over organic growth

+ Monetization options lack advanced YouTube income strategies

+ Still requires some technical knowledge for best results

+ Customer Support and Pricing

The Pricing

Apollo is currently priced at a one-time fee of $17 as part of a limited launch offer. Their regular price is listed at $67 per month after launch:

Jett App Price

Compared to other channel automation software I’ve seen, Apollo is reasonably priced, especially at the $17 level.

In terms of customer support, submitting support tickets resulted in fairly timely and helpful responses from the Apollo team. They seem willing to answer questions for users getting started.

One advantage is there are no monthly fees, so you can continue using Apollo without ongoing charges after the initial payment.

Just be aware the developer is marketing this aggressively as a limited-time offer that will expire soon to create urgency. In reality, it’s hard to say if the price will actually increase substantially later.

The Upsells

Like many software products nowadays, Apollo App does try to upsell customers to higher tier versions after purchase. There are currently 5 upsell offers:

OTO 1: Apollo Unlimited Edition – $147

This removes limits on the AI video creator, number of channels, video renders, and distribution capabilities. It also promises access to special traffic methods and DFY campaigns. This seems geared towards power users who want to scale up.

OTO 2: Apollo DFY Setup – $297

This upsell is for users who don’t want to bother optimizing their own channel. Apollo’s team will create your channel art, branding, SEO elements, etc. It can save beginners time, but takes away creative control.

OTO 3: Apollo AutoPilot Edition – $39

This unlocks automation for titles, descriptions, captions, commenting, sharing, liking, and other YouTube best practices. Helpful for growth, but should arguably be included in the base software.

OTO 4: Apollo 200 DFY Campaigns – $39

Gives access to pre-made profitable video campaign blueprints across various niches. Decent value for beginners to kickstart their efforts with proven formulas. But creativity is limited.

OTO 5: Apollo Franchisee Edition – $197

Boosts affiliate commission for promoting Apollo to a very lucrative 85% per sale. But average users likely won’t need this expensive upgrade.

The core Apollo software provides decent beginner value already for the base price. But power users or serious affiliate marketers may find the upsells worthwhile for extra capabilities and maximizing their results.

However, I’d still recommend starting with the main Apollo App first and only upgrading later once the core software is mastered. The base version still offers a solid groundwork in my opinion.

Final Verdict – Should You Get Apollo?

So what’s the final call – is the Apollo App worth buying or not? Here’s my honest advice:

The Apollo App does provide some decent beginner value in terms of quick channel setup, basic video creation, and getting some initial traction. The interface is clean and intuitive too.

However, experienced YouTube marketers will find it lacking in advanced optimization, customization, branding, and proven organic growth features. And the monetization options leave much to be desired.

If you have zero experience creating videos or building a YouTube audience, Apollo could help kickstart your efforts while you learn – making it potentially worth the $17 early bird pricing.

But more serious users will outgrow Apollo’s limited toolset quickly. Intermediate/advanced users will be better off with a platform like Vidnami that gives you more creative control.

In the end, despite some flaws, Apollo App can be worth considering for absolute YouTube beginners who want a quick and easy way to get started. But proceed with measured expectations – this is still a basic software with significant limitations.
